  • Second-team AP All–American, third-team UPI All-America in 1959
  • Honored with the McKelvin Award as ACC’s top athlete in 1959
  • Played for Wichita Vickers in National Industrial League and Sunbury in Eastern Professional League
  • Coached freshman basketball at State for three seasons before leaving to enter private business
