  • Overall dual-meet record at State of 189-29, including a 34-meet winning streak in the 1950s
  • Eleven team SC and ACC titles
  • Coached 1954, 1956, and 1962 national AAU championship teams
  • Served as athletic director at State from 1969–1986
  • Casey Aquatic Center named in his honor
  • Died in 1992
