* Castleman D. Chesley - (1987)

Media pioneer. Set up impromptu statewide television network to broadcast UNC basketball team in 1957 Final Four. Effort evolved into ACC Basketball Network, first conference-basketball television network in U.S. Native of Washington, D.C. Lived in North Carolina for many years. Played football at Pennsylvania. Died in 1983 at age of 69.
