  • Led the Tar Heels to national prominence with six NCAA championships, six NCAA runner-up finishes, and more than a dozen ACC titles
  • Member of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Hall of Fame and the USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame
  • Three-time national Player of the Year at West Chester State and helped the U.S. team to a bronze medal at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles
