On this day in history in the NCSHOF, Clarence “Ace” Parker died at the age of 101.

November 6, 2013 - On this day in history in the NCSHOF, Clarence “Ace” Parker died at the age of 101. He was a star at Duke University who went on to play major league baseball with the Philadelphia Athletics as well as playing in the NFL for the Brooklyn Dodgers, earning the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award in 1940.  He was inducted into the NCSHOF in 1963.
