On this day in history in the NCSHOF, Campbell University named its baseball stadium after baseball great Jim Perry.

November 11, 2012 - On this day in history in the NCSHOF, Campbell University named its baseball stadium after baseball great Jim Perry. Born in Williamston, Perry attended Campbell before embarking on a 17-year career in major league baseball, which included winning the 1970 Cy Young Award with 24 wins as a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins.  He was inducted into the NCSHOF in 1973.
