February 12, 1971 - On this day in history in the NCSHOF, Greensboro native Lou Hudson was one of two members of the Hall to have big games for the Atlanta Hawks in a 125-116 victory over the New York Knicks.  Hudson had 30 points for the winners while teammate Walt Bellamy, a native of New Bern, dropped in 33 points.  Hudson joined the NCSHOF in 1988 while Bellamy was inducted in 1984 and both played collegiately in the Big Ten—Hudson at Minnesota, Bellamy at Indiana.
