On this day in history in the NCSHOF, former basketball great Pete Brennan died at the age of 75. Brennan was a key member of the UNC national championship team that posted a perfect record during the 1956-57 season, and then the following year he was the Atlantic Coast Conference basketball Player of the Year. He was inducted into the NCSHOF in 2007.
