December 4, 1986 - On this day in history in the NCSHOF, Sleepy Floyd of the Golden State Warriors dropped in 21 points, handed out 13 assists and had four steals to lead the Warriors to a 116-106 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Gastonia native, who starred at Georgetown collegiately, sparked his team to a 61-43 halftime lead. He joined the NCSHOF in 2016.
