On this day in history in the NCSHOF, Greensboro native Lou Hudson exploded for 42 points...

February 2, 1970 - On this day in history in the NCSHOF, Greensboro native Lou Hudson exploded for 42 points to lead the Atlanta Hawks past Detroit by a 125-121 score.  Hudson, who was an all-American at Minnesota, was known as “Sweet Lou” and his stroke was sweet in this game, hitting 16 field goals and 10 of 11 at the foul line. He was inducted into the NCSHOF in 1988.
