On this day in history, basketball great Henry Logan was born in Asheville.

March 14, 1946 - On this day in history in the NCSHOF, basketball great Henry Logan was born in Asheville.  A star at Stephens-Lee High School in Asheville, Logan was a collegiate standout at Western Carolina from 1964-68, scoring 60 points in a single game and averaging 36.2 ppg as a senior.  Logan was North Carolina's first African-American collegiate athlete at a predominantly white school.  After a pro basketball career cut short by injury, he was inducted into the NCSHOF in 2000.
