On this day in history, Floyd “Pep” Young made his major league baseball debut...

April 25, 1933 - On this day in history in the NCSHOF, Floyd “Pep” Young made his major league baseball debut for the Pittsburgh Pirates.  The Jamestown native played 10 years in the major leagues and was known as a great fielding second baseman. He was inducted into the NCSHOF in 2000.
