May 4, 1964 - On this day in history in the NCSHOF, Duke University star Jeff Mullins was selected in the first round of the 1964 NBA draft with the fifth overall pick, going to the St. Louis Hawks. He also played for the Warriors in the NBA and later was the head basketball at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1985 to 1996. He was inducted into the NCSHOF in 1983.
