July 17, 1955 - On this day in history in the NCSHOF, Roger Craig made his major league pitching debut for the Brooklyn Dodgers. A Durham native and the only major league player/coach to earn World Series rings with four different teams, he pitched for 12 years in MLB and managed the San Francisco Giants to a World Series victory in 1989. He joined the NCSHOF in 1985.
