Ted Brown 1995

Standout running back at N.C. State and in the NFL. Unusual blend of power and speed. Holder of numerous ACC and N.C. State records. First-team all-ACC, 1975–1978. Only player to make all-ACC four times. All-American, 1978. ACC Rookie of the Year, 1975. Led ACC in rushing, 1977, 1978. Rushed for 4,602 yards in college, still ACC career record. Scored 51 college touchdowns. Finished sixth in 1978 Heisman Trophy balloting. Rushed for 251 yards against Penn State in 1977. Played for Minnesota Vikings, 1979–1986. Rushed for 4,546 yards in pros, including 1,063 in 1981, and caught 339 passes. Born 1957, High Point.
